	INTERESTED IN FIRE FIGHTING AS A CAREER?

	The Glendale Fire Department is providing a cadet program that can give you some of the valuable training that will assist you in reaching your goal!

	Minimum Requirements
	Age 19 or higher Completion of EMT-1 course High School Graduation or GED Concurrent College attendance with a major in Fire Science or a related field. Valid Class C Drivers License

	Desirable Traits

	Bi-lingual skills highly desirable Commitment to seeking a Fire Service career Ties to Glendale Community Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per month

	Selection Process

	Physical agility test Oral interview similar to that of a Fire Fighter Successful completion of background investigation Individual must be viable candidate for regular employment
